Customer Service

What if I need help during the course?
Depending on the challenge, you have three customer support alternatives, one for CONTENT questions and one for TECHNICAL questions and one for SHIPPING and BILLING questions:

What is the cost of the courses?

Each course is $55.  You may pay with a major credit card on line.  The site is secure.  You will be asked to provide a "shipping" address so that Deborah can mail you a completion slip.  You will also be asked for your social security number--you do not have to provide your social security number if you do not want to.  After you have provided this information, you will choose the course(s) you want and put the course in a "shopping cart."  Then you will be able to proceed to take the course.

What is your refund policy for online products?

Is my credit card transaction/sale secure?
Yes. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address and SS#, so that this information cannot be read as it travels the internet.  You will be asked for shipping and billing information, even if no product will be shipped.  Deborah needs your shipping address to snail-mail your certificate of completion.

How do I obtain CE credit for completing the course?
Deborah Long will provide you with a certificate for your files and send a confirmation to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. You MUST email Deborah when you have completed the course.  She will check REcampus' records for confirmation of your completion before sending you a completion  slip.  You will receive a completion slip via e-mail in about one week from completion.

Does my state require me to sign a statement to get CE credit for this course?
Yes.  You will be emailed a certification statement and course evaluation form to sign and fax back to Deborah.

Is there a final exam?  NO!

Not for North Carolina students.  However, there are chapter quizzes and unit exams which you must complete with 90% proficiency.  You will be given many opportunities to reach 90%.  Please IGNORE any references to a final exam.  If you see a reference to "You have completed  95% of the course," you are DONE!

Once I register for an online course, can I start it immediately?

Yes. The online enrollment process includes credit card verification. In under a minute, you will be approved to start your desired online course(s). We will send you an e-mail confirmation for your records, but you may begin the course at any time, including immediately following registration.  You will be asked for a "shipping address" because Deborah will have to send you a course completion slip.

Where do I go on the REcampus website to take an online course?

Click anywhere on this page where it says "Enroll now."  You will be linked to the REcampus website.  On the left hand side of the REcampus page, notice where it says "REcampuse Store" and click on "courses."

From "courses," you can choose one of five elective courses and putting them in your shopping cart.  You will also notice that you can try a demo course and test your browser on this page.

What are the time completion issues to consider?

1.  Must I complete the online course in one sitting, or can I log off and come back to it later?

Our online courses "remember" where you left off, so you can return to that section at a later time. Even if you get disconnected from your online service (e.g., you step away from your computer for an extended period of time), the online courses will be bookmarked for your return. The next time you enter your course you will return to the lesson you were most recently working on.

You may be able to complete the course in less than four hours. For the advanced courses, it may take longer than four hours to complete all of the requirements of the courses.. You will still receive credit for taking a four-hour elective.

2.  Does my enrollment expire after a certain period of time?

You will be able to start the online course at any time during the next 12 months.  However, read the information below about finishing by a certain date for elective credit.

3.  Must I finish by a certain date?

If you are trying to earn elective credit to renew a North Carolina real estate license for 2007-08, you must enroll no later than June 10, 2008.  You must complete the course WITHIN 30 DAYS of enrollment.  The NC Real Estate Commission also requires that courses must be finished by June 10, 2008.

If you take more than one elective course, you may be eligible to have the second course apply to the following year's elective credit.  Contact the NC Real Estate Commission for more information.
